17 June

Hey, been a while since my last post, and I'm sorry for that. It's not just I haven't had anything to write here, I sure do, but the problem is the time! Mostly my day right now starts at 0700 and ends by the midnight or so and after that I'm just really exhausted!

Since my last post from April, I have done loads and loads of things. Firstly army is finally over and I'm enjoying the freedom as much as I can. I've made a small video from my spring time in the army, you can watch it here! But at the same time as I wrapped up my "soldier career" I actually finished some exams as well. Passed all of them and I'm satisfied with that. Now I got 260 EAPs in total, which I personally think is awesome, also my Road Engineering is pretty much finished, so whenever I finish the school, I will finish it with two degrees at least!

Performances, well done many of them meanwhile, got some pretty fun experiences with some kids, for example. I was performing in Pärnu in May and while I was doing a warm up near one house, there was a kid inside of the building and checking me out from the window. At some point he opened the window, showed me a thumbs up and told me; "You are dealing with the right sport, women will love it" haha, yes, that's exactly what he said!!!

So yeah, just enjoying those little things in life as hell.

About my training:
Well during the army, I have gone down a lot, my physical shape isn't as good, my touch part needs loads of work etc. Right now I'm getting injured quite often as well, because my body isn't used to the hard work I'm doing 4/7 and it just seems to like "give up" or so. Even right now I got an issue with my lower back, where I've probably pulled a muscle, great!!! Also I've changed and mixed my training with jump rope, running etc. just to get out of this training routine and make it more efficient!
Also, I'm planning to make a new video at some time. My friend CM has also a video plan that includes me. I don't have a glue, when will I start, but there's definitely some things coming up, trust me!

It's 0014 local time, like everyday I just can't go to bed before midnight!

22 April

Hey.

On last weeks Thursday I had one performance in Tallinn. It was a football event run by Estonian Football Federation and I was asked to give kids a performance and so I did. But the day before the performance, I was practising in Army and I hurt one muscle in my right leg, sorry I don't know how it's called in English, but in Estonian, it is "Sprinteri lihas". I tried to train some more and focused on uppers, but after 15 minutes I realised that it wasn't a good idea and I needed a rest. I thought that the next day will be better, well it wasn't. It started hurting before the show and after that it was an immense pain in my leg, I couldn't even walk properly. Back at the battalion I just layed down and did nothing. My Army mates brought me some food and by the evening I contacted with the medical stuff. The pain was that immense and it was hard for me to move. I was taken to the Army hospital, they put a cannula to my vein and I was given 1L of NaCl again, just like a month before at the Mustamäe hospital. The doctor said that she doesn't think it is anything bad and she suggested that I should go to sleep and if I cannot sleep, I should be taken to the hospital in Tallinn. She left the cannula to my vein and I went back to my room. I had quite a good sleep, just only the cannula in my vein hurted as hell.
This was my arm in the morning, doesn't look bad, but it sure felt that way.

In the morning this sh*t was removed and I continued with my duties. In Tallinn, I started feeling pain again and my Major suggested, that I should go to the hospital and run some tests. So I did. In the hospital the Doc told me that it's nothing bad, it's probably muscle fever. I told her that it doesn't feel like any other muscle fever I've had. She told me that I am quite muscular and different type of muscles hurt differently. I should have a rest and everything should be fine in no time. And it actually was, in the weekend I could train, I ran 11km with just 44 minutes etc. But right now I'm back at the battalion and the pain is back. I have 2 performances on the weekend, hopefully everything is fine by that time...
The only thing do to now, is just rest - and I hate resting. I am used to work till I die and then I do it all over again!

Last week I gave one interview as well, don't have a glue when it's going to be published, but when it is, I'm going to share it!

4 April

Waddap!!!

So it's April already and that means I have two months to go and then Army will be OVER!!!!! Gonna be one awesome day, I guarantee!!!

I have actually done many decisions about my future in the last 2 weeks. For example, somewhere at the end of 2014 I was quite sure that right after the Army I will be going to train, work and live abroad for a year or so, that I will take a free year from the University, just to do things I enjoy. Right now those plans are cancelled and I won't go anywhere. That's because one job offer I was given and which I couldn't resist. It's definitely a challenging for me, but probably as most of you know, I'm that person who's hungry for challenges. I don't study 3 degrees in the University just to start working in all three professions, but to challenge myself, I really want to see what am I capable of. If something is easy for me, then I usually stop doing it and move on...
But yeah no there's a new challenges for me, how to be an athlete, University student and head of a division at the same time, yes by the beginning of June, I'm going to be all of them...
So about freestyle as well. Been training hard, working hard on my physical form and paying attention to every small detail with the ball. Got some performances coming up (one even later on today) etc. Today I woke up, chilled for about 30 minutes or so and then went for a 11 km run. Damn that was probably the hardest run I've had in a while. Last night I had quite hard training as well and due to that my teres major muscle hurt. While I was running, about on a 7 km I felt pain in my right side of stomach and the pants rubbed the skin of from the inside part of my thigh, haha what a start for the day. You may ask, didn't  I felt the pain while I was running, well I did, but no pain no gain! Got time unfer 50 minutes ( normally it takes around 45 minutes). As an athlete, I'm used to have those minor issues all the time.

18 March

Sup, it's freaking spring, thumbs up!

But been doing lot of stuff as always. Did 3 performances in a week, a lot of school stuff was taken care etc. The first performance was my this years first outdoor one, it was in Hiiu in the half time of a football match. Weather was quite cold and windy, but I did my best.
After that one I had two performances, on Thursday in Pärnu and on Friday in Viljandi. But on Wednesday we had an quite extreme workout on legs at the battalion. Everyone were struggling with a muscle fever for 2-3 days, but I had 2 shows coming up on the following days. Ou, and I asked a permission for Thursday and Friday to be out for couple of hours, but after I had made them a blanket I received a fully 2 day city pass, what a feeling, enjoying a Friday morning in my own bed!! But both of the shows were amazing, I literally enjoyed every minute of them. The crowd was very cosy and felt very good! Even though my legs were killing me,  it took me like 40 minutes to warm my legs up and after that I just couldn't stop anymore, otherwise I would have felt a lot more pain.

Right now I'm sitting at the battalion. It's a nice weather outside and everything is chill. By the end of this week I have been having a city passes on 9 days out of 14 - really enjoying the life in a new unit! But there's always a minus side as well, for example I can't make plans ahead, because we might get a new operation in one day notice. Yesterday I knew that I was going to spend the weekend in battalion so I turned down the performances I was offered, but jsut 24h later, it's clear that I actually could do them - well see!!!

28 February

Hey hey,

Long time no see hah? But as always, there have been quite a lot done meanwhile. First of all, about a week ago, I got injured. The thing is, it was a very strange injury, if you ask me. I woke up on Thursday morning and did my morning routine as always. Then around 0900 I went to the lesson I had to, and I started feeling little pain in my stomach, it wasn't bad so I didn't bother and just kept going on. When the lessons ended I went back to my room at the battalion and layed down on the chairs ( you can't lay down onto the bed at the daytime in battalion) and the pain dissolved somehow. After the midday I had some other lessons again, so I went their. Pain came back and while I was sitting there, I was going dissy. So I asked to lay down on the floor, but they didn't want let me to stay there and I was taken to the hospital, fu*k, the one place on earth I hate the most! I was taken to the hospital, they made ma a lot of tests, rayed my stomach and places a cannula to my vein. They gave me a 1l NaCl solution at first and after some time, they gave me another one. The doc told me that the results are good and probably I pulled some sort of muscle in my stomach - I have pulled muscles many time before, but this time it felt so wired, so I had to wait till the 1l package is empty and then I could leave. Shit, I hate hospitals and were stuck in one, took a 30 minutes nap and saw that the pack was empty. Doctors were running around, nobody was coming to take the cannula out of my vein. So I stand up and went to look for someone. And then one nurse saw me, and told me to immediately lay down again. The blood from my vein had gone trough the cannula, through the cable right into the pack, where some time ago NaCl solution was, and according to her, it was bad. So I was taken back to the bed and had to spend another 30 minutes, until one lady came to me and pulled the thing out of my vein. I was taken back to the battalion and the pain lasted for about 3 days.

Now everything is fine, I'm back at normal training and feel awesome!!!!
In the morning I ran around 11 km with 47 minutes, then had a break and in the evening had 3 hour training session - if you want you can check one small clip of it on the facebook!

Wadapp!!

Received some new gear from Adidas, basically footwear this time.
Two pairs for freestyle, one pair for free time and the red ones for running - yeah the sport where you have to but one leg in front of other and the faster you do it the better you are - running!! When we had a meet couple of weeks ago, I informed Adidas that I was running in September in Tallinn and got 69 place out of over 5000 competitors, also my result was quite good, so Adidas immediately offered me a chance to have a pair of running shoes. I don't know much of a running so they recommended me some stuff. After realizing I have no glue what they are talking about - they told me that we are going to make you a little surprise and they did. I got a pair of awesome running shoes, really they are that amazing.
Looks good, well feels even better. Yesterday I did my first 11 km running with them and registered for one running competition. Now don't get me wrong, running is awesome, but freestyle has my heart, I just like to run and compete once in a while.

Right after the run!

But back to freestyle as well. Still working hard and everyday to get back to the level I were in December - when I had 2 weeks off army and could train at max. It's hard and my body isn't used anymore to this hard work I was doing, but I have been on that road many times, this time is no different.

What's up!

Now I can finally say that I won't have no more camps during my Army time. Just ended 5 weeks in forest and this s*it is over, so I'm able to train basically everyday from now on till the end of my soldier career! Those weeks have actually destroyed my physical form and everything else that used to be easy for me. It wasn't problem for me to do 20 pull ups with 14 extra kg in December, but 5 weeks after, I can pull off only 16-17. And there are other setbacks as well, but at least I'm going to work on them and hopefully soon I'm back at my best, doing combos and everything I'm used to do.

Upcoming week is going to be interesting, at least I think. I will be moved to my new unit, getting a better service gun etc. Also on Tuesday I'm going to do something that I was often used to do, when I was younger, but for past 4-5 years I haven't done it anymore - going back to my roots as you can say. Gonna enjoy it a lot...
